Post 10 (12-12): English Language Challenges

English and life: I really liked learning more about English of what I had learned in high school, maybe I could have put more effort in the classes but I also think that I did my best so I will not overkill myself about it, at the start I didn’t liked the use of blogs because it was something that took me out of my comfort zone but as we were writing them I realized that it was a useful way to start writing more freely and catching up with native American writers, so in conclusion I thought that the blog method was useless but in the end I came to enjoy writing them. I admit that I can improve my fluency, so I will be listening more English songs and doing karaoke with my friends. I mostly use English when my family from EEUU comes to visit us in Chile, I have a cousin that only speaks English which is mostly my uncle fault because he being Chilean hasn’t been teaching her Spanish so we can only communicate with her using English. Post 9 (05-12) Changing the Study Programme

Improvement and academic burden: Well , I will start talking about something that happened to me when I started studying Journalism, I suffered a panic attack due to the pression from the courses I was taking, I started with five subjects and in one of them I had to read like six books for a test and after three months of struggling I took the decision to freeze one of the semesters of college, I think that maybe the university needs to ease the academical burden that they give to students, also I think that there are too many few green areas in our campus and that contributes to the mood of the students affecting their development. Post 7 (21-11) : Current Issues.

“Fake news in our times ” In the last days there was a rumor about a possible attack that was about to happen in the Universidad Catolica de Valparaiso, in the light of this event, the classes were cancelled the next day so there wouldn’t be any problems, I chose this problem because I think that there is an overwhelming cases of fakes news and that this situation only proves more to everyone that we cannot continue with troubles like this.  I think that it is important because of the misinformation that fake news spread through the inhabitants of the world, in this case Chile. Instead of just believing everything that we read on the internet we should be able to discern the true information of the false information. A solution could be the creation of programs to filter the information given by the media and the social networks, working together with figures like Mark Zuckerberg and many others we could accomplish features like impeding the spreading of news like exam...

Post 6 (14-11) Post Graduate Studies

About the future? I would like to keep following studies that allow me to understand myself better so I´d like to take a post grade of International Relationships in the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile, my plan would be studying while working as a part timer so I can afford the post grade and a regular life where I am able of being honest to my needs and all other stuff that I find important to enjoy. Well, I think that usual learning methods will work for me so I don’t really worry about my level of understanding, the reason why I want to pursue this course is because I really value the relations between persons and the relationships that develop inside different cultures so the thought of studying them really sends a shiver down my spine and make my mind waver a little. Post 5- My Future Job

Some nights I dream : If I have the opportunity I`d like to work as a writer, I like writing stories and poems and I am currently working in two novels at the moment, You could say that one of my dreams is to work one day as a fully pledged novelist, I would like to work in interiors at an office where I can relax and concentrate myself more calmly, I also like the idea of travelling around the world mostly to get inspiration for my writing and to know more realities that I am actually not aware of. Post 4 (31-10): Experiences

About a girl: when I was young I fell in love at first sight with a girl that was really quiet and shy, I stared at her at every break we had at school and sometimes I imagined that she looked me back and that thought made me happy for a long time, time passed and as the school year went over I realized that I had to take the courage to tell her what I thought about her , so I made up my mind and approached her in lunch break very carefully (to not look creepy obviously) and after a longtime I said hi to her, as I said earlier she was very timid so her answer was a little quiet and at the moment I didn’t realized what she was telling me even so we talked for a while and we came to an understanding that we wanted to be friends and be closer We had become friends and it lasted until she moved to another city and I was sadly left alone, although it still makes my heart ache a little I feel happy about the time we spent together.
